In the backdrop of swach bharat abhiyan, why a country like India, which is showing impressive growth numbers, is having an apathetic record in sanitation and cleanliness, whereas smaller and less developed countries fare better

The problem with our country is

1.      sheer numbers

2.      different cultures

3.      poverty

4.      illiteracy…..

Economic growth is alright, but whether it is equal growth. whether it has improved living status, thats why we have HDI and other such indices. Indeed the concept of development itself is changing with new understandings

The task at hand is making our country clean !!! no doubt that in that aspect we have lot of work to do !!!
