India's response to US Pivot & China's Asia Trap

Sir with growing Indo-US ties India's multi-vectored foreign policy has strengthened but how should India respond to allegations of falling into US pivot to Asia trap by China?
As our former PM has said, there is enough space in the world for both India and China to grow peacefully. The concept of pivot of US in Asia, India going into the camp of the US against China are all media created. We have very good relations with the US. Similarly we have worked closely with China in replacing out differences while at the same time growing a robust trade and commercial relationship. While we have border issues with China, we have embarked on the road of developing relationship in all other matters, improve the trust on each other and at a later time when both the countries are comfortable, tackle problems. I do not see us in competition. Till such time the issues are settled, there will be times when we may face each other in adversity, but not necessarily in violence. That is why we have, as I said, embarked on the journey of developing trust between us to tackle contentious issues at a later stage
